Although my parents anniversary isn't for another month, we surprised them with having a family party to celebrate them. At a family bbq dinner my sister left a large gold box at the front door having one of the kids ring the door bell and run away leaving my parents stunned wondering what a large gold box was on their doorstep for. They were thrilled when opening it seeing the balloons, and streamers and us saying happy anniversary. We planned to have updated pictures of them taken with each other and with us, and to do a nice dinner and go up to sundance after to see The Wizard of Oz. Leaving them to stay the night at the lodge (which is where my dad proposed before it was actually built)
Reading old letters we had written to our parents when we were young that my mom had saved and forgotten.
I didn't get any pictures taken at sundance because it was a complete downpour in the beginning! Then had to deal with little Oliver wanting to walk up and down the hill rather than watch the play, lil stink! haha
