"A bad day fishing is still better than a good day at the office."

We ate our last fish at the family bbq on Mothers day. We headed up to Rock Port Wednesday morning hoping to get lots of fish but left empty handed. We couldn't have asked for a better day though! We spent the day as a family with the in laws, enjoyed the sun, and MJ had a blast being on a boat for her first time! She is getting more and more independent, she kept pushing my hand away not wanting me to hold on to her life jacket.
High of the trip: Being with my family on such a gorgeous day

Rather then being upset about wearing a life jacket
she thought it was pretty funny and danced around

 worms and flavored marshmallows were the choice of fish bate

 so relaxing, and such a natural on the boat
