I love these two, and I love how they can be the best of friends and play so cute together! I look forward to the many memories we'll make in this home of ourse.

New house!
We closed on our new house and moved in the middle of November after much help from my family basically painting the whole inside of the house. So nice to have our own home and grateful to have lived with my in laws before to save money for this.
Master bedroom being set up
Olivers room he has to himself! until the baby arrives though haha
So grateful for my incredible family helping us move, paint, clean, watching my kiddos! I am so beyond blessed.
That morning we had my nephews baptism, afterwards everyone came and helped take boxes over and set up beds so we could spend our first night.
Oliver loved helping out putting the kitchen table together.
reading time with sissy before bedtime! He's finally starting to enjoy books a bit more.

Halloween
Oliver wasn't so sure about the trick or treating thing at first and then while watching MJ and realizing how great it was to get candy from people so he would run up to the door and just start slapping the door so excited to put candy in his basket. Of course everyone thought he was just the cutest thing and gave him extra pieces. So between Ryan's work and the neighborhood we had two full grocery sacks of candy!
At Dad's work trick or treating in the office. Oliver not thrilled having to sit still for a picture.
Yearly tradition of pizza and treats at Granny and Papa D's Halloween.
Ran into MJ's favorite twins! We love our play dates with these cute boys
Oliver so excited wanting to ring the doorbell
Talk about a sugar high that night!
Next stop with traditions is eating chili at Grandma and Papa's house!

Halloween Carnival
MJ saw Dorothy the Wizard of Oz costume and just had to wear it! I think she was inspired from the play we saw during the summer with my family for my parents 50th anniversary. So I bought it and thought I'd make it easy with Oliver, put on a flannel shirt with overalls and moccs, paint his face and call it good with being the scarecrow! Our ward that we were in at the time always does a Halloween carnival for the kids that the youth put on. So cute and so fun!
Laurels doing the face painting. MJ and her little friend Tenley sitting so still for the girls
My cute Mia Maids! Hannah and Sophie. Oliver was very loved when I would bring him into class.

October
So much easier to fall asleep in the hallways rather than clean your room apparently...
The beginning of him climbing on everything! This kid knows no fear..
Practicing learning her letters on my phone. She doesn't get a whole lot of time on phone so when she does earn the privilege to play on it she absolutely loves it

September photos
I've said before this blog is mainly to keep updated so when I am able to do a photo album I can just look back at my blog and copy what I wrote ;) This was September 21 for a family home evening up Big Cottonwood Canyon. MJ just had to bring her helmet because she was riding her pretend horse (her favorite animal right now) and so of course to be safe you have to wear a helmet right? haha.
I love fall! It is my favorite season and unfortunately doesn't last very long, unlike winter here. We picked up some fall leaves and sticks to take home to Grandma.

Oliver 16 months
This fiesty boy is growing up so quickly but he sure is fun and I love seeing his personality develop.
He knows what he wants and is very determined. He thinks it's funny when I scold him and just smiles at me while he baby blues twinkle and I bite my cheeks to stop from laughing. He went through a little hitting stage but is getting better at it. We joke (kinda) that he doesn't listen worth beans! He is always into the outlets when he sees them. He can also be the sweetest and come running to me and give me hugs. I love to listen to him make car sounds while playing with his toys. He's still a bit of a tough eater. He loves cereal, eggs, meat and bread. And thanks to Halloween he's obsessed with candy! he hears the word and lights up looking for some.
He loves tools and had a ball putting together our kitchen table with Ryan.
He says baby, me, Papa, bite, bye, mama meh (mama milk, yes I'm still working on weaning him..trust me I'd love to be done nursing!) working on saying Mary. Has said milk once. Cheese, blanket (bankey) please (peeeease)
He can point to his eyes, nose, hair, hands, feet, toes, fingers, belly button, ears, and cheek. Will growl when you ask what a tiger says. Will lay down immediately when I tell him to if I'm about to nurse him, it's really quite funny, I feel like I have a little puppy dog some days! He's not big into reading books like MJ was and still is. so I had to quickly snap a picture when he laid on the floor by her while she was ''reading''
He loves to chase and be chased by MJ. He has done a great job transitioning from living at my in-laws to our own home. He still has yet to sleep through the night, I've tried the crying it out and he will cry and scream until he is horse. So we are still working on that one as well! I think in his 16 months here he has slept through the night maybe twice?
He loves to climb on everything, play in the dirt, play with light switches, play with brooms/mops, use cloths and wipe the floor and walls it's so funny to watch him.
He is a handful and such a joy! I love this sweet boy he certainly has made my heart bigger.
