AZ trip part 2

Arizona Spring Break pt 1

Spring fever

Love love love playing outside with this little one, although it is getting annoying having a harder time getting up and down to play with the chalk with MJ. Taking her baby for a stroll, playing side walk chalk and bubbles were all the rage that day.

hair saver

I don't know if it's these dang hormones, the weather or what but my hair has been soooooo dry! like straw type of dry. So the last couple of weeks I haven't been blow drying my hair and styling it straight like I normally do. Curls and waves for this girl only. Between that and these miracle workers..

My hair actually feels like hair once again! Even after the first time using it I could feel a difference. All you need is a quarter size of shampoo to wash your scalp and hair. Ring out the water as best as you can and put a little conditioner in starting at the ends. I then put my hair in a low bun while I wash my face and body than rinse. I also use CHI oil after showering and use my big tooth comb to help with any tangles I may have as to not rip out any hair then let it air dry. Today was the first time blow drying my hair and hello smooth hair! I normally look like a lions mane all frizzy and crazy looking.

It's on the pricier side around $40+ for the 8.5 oz shown in picture) but sooo worth it AND you don't have to use very much to allow it to work. You also don't have to replace your regular salon shampoo and conditioner with this. Now that my hair  has some moisture back in it after using it  only 3 times I'll use my other brand (Redken for blondes) till I feel the need for the Moroccan oil again. You can purchase this at some salons or since only friends and family read this I can get it for you much cheaper.

25 weeks!

Gender: BOY!

Maternity Clothes: pulled out the maternity shorts and bought a pair of jean pants. As well as a couple of cute shirts because they were on sale of course.

Stretch Marks: Only from Mary still so far 

Movement: All the time! it's so fun, I forgot how amazing it is to feel that little baby kicking and rolling around. 

Weight gain/loss: Still down 5 from pre pregnancy weight. But up 5 from my original loss of 10. It's slowly creeping up as I'm sitting and laying down more 

Cravings: Meat

Sleep: not too shabby. Hips are starting to hurt once in awhile

Missing anything?: being able to go up the stairs with out huffing and puffing haha

Best moment this week: Starting to get some clothes for this kid

Belly button in or out: In. always in.

Wedding ring on or off: On

Happy or Moody: So happy! I love feeling him move around, Mary has finally been able to feel him kick and thinks it's pretty funny.

Looking forward to: Our vaca getaway next month!

About freaking time

I am so not a winter person but I love Utah and all that is has to offer and I'm super close with my family so naturally I just have to deal with our half a year long cold awful winter season. So when Spring decides to finally arrive I want to sing from the rooftops. 

This little miss was just as excited as me to see and feel some sun. We've enjoyed painting, chalk drawing, running, twirling, picnics, ring-a-round the rosies in the yard like you wouldn't believe. 

                                         Aren't these just the cutest little feet..

                               MJ adores her cousin and loves when they have play dates.

Baby #2

Gird up your loins, it's a BOY! We are thrilled and so excited to meet this little guy in July!

Now it's time for shopping and to think of a name...wish me luck!

20 weeks. yikes half way there already!

How far along: 20 weeks
Gender: BOY!
Maternity Clothes: bought some maternity jeans and a couple of shirt including above shirt from Old Navy on sale
Stretch Marks: only the ones MJ so kindly gave me
Movement: yes finally! After drinking some OJ and having a piece of toast he was jumping all over the place last week it was so fun. I had forgotten how it felt in the early stages.

Weight gain/loss: down 10 pounds now (no clue why, I eat that's for sure.) But I'm staying healthy and that's most important so I'm not complaining at all about losing a bit.

Cravings: Nothing specific right now. Meat always sounds good especially hamburgers.

Sleep: pretty good! I'm sure I'll be busting out the body pillow from the closet before I know it.

Best moment this week: Finding out the gender this morning of course!

Wedding ring on or off: On

Happy or Moody: So happy!

Looking forward to: Shopping for this little prince
