growing too fast!

Umm did I say you could be a big boy and start sitting up by yourself?! This little cutie decided last night that he is just going to grow up faster than I'm ready for. I am in love with the baby.

MJ turns 3!

Tomorrow is this cute girls 3rd birthday! She is just a ball of sass and fun and is my sweet sensitive girl. I love the way she says ''Oviller'' and how much she loves her little brother.

She is my ''helper girl'' as she tells me and is a little mini mama with Ollie. She is so smart and this past year she has grown so much. She speaks so well and amazes everyone around her. I love our conversations we have and that she loves to cuddle with me. She is little miss independent and a girly girl who loves playing tea parties, having her nails painted pink and wearing dress ups. She cracks us up with what she says. I recently fell and scraped up my knees, she asked to see them and said ''awwww darniiiiit'' and proceeded to kiss them all better.

 She loves to watch Justin Time, My little ponies, Bo on the Go, Daniel Tiger, Barney, Frozen, Elmo and Rudolph the Red nose Reindeer haha.

She loves to play at the park, color/paint, obsessed with reading books. She is my pride and joy, the little girl I always hoped I would have. Love you miss Mary Jean!!

party of 4!

There are four birthdays in the month of November on my side so it's easier to just get together once and celebrate them all and the kids have a blast. I can't believe my little babe is going to be 3!

I'm a proud owner of a jogger stroller thanks to the classifieds. I've wanted one since MJ was born but knew it was pretty pointless to spend money on a single jogger knowing she wasn't going to be our only child. I think this picture speaks for itself. Think the kiddos enjoyed our day out?

4 month update

4 months old today! 11/11.
Stats:
14 pounds (26th percentile)  -MJ was 13 pounds at this age
26 inches in height (jumped from 9th to 75th percentile in two months!)  -MJ was 24 inches
his head is in the 79th percentile too.
He definitely has more hair than MJ did! He has golden blonde hair like her.
He also sleeps like she did; either on back with arms up or on his side haha.

He grunts more so than giggling so it's treat when he actually giggles!
He loves to be around people and being talked to, he's my little social baby
Wears size 3 diapers (at this age MJ was still in 1's)
Wearing 3-6 month clothes

He loves being up look around watching all of us, wish I could find our dang bumbo that is hidden some where in our storage unit! :/
I wear him in my ergo which I didn't really baby wear Mary. I love the ergo! I got it for a steal of a deal. It's definitely a must when the 2nd kid comes around so I have my hands free.

The last few weeks he has been great at grasping toys and holding onto them. He can roll over from his stomach to his back.

He absolutely hates his car seat. I don't know what it is but he cries when I buckle him in.
He will finally take to a binky once in awhile, but I'm thinking he's going to be a little thumb sucker..
Hoping he self soothes sooner than later... the only way to soothe him now is to nurse him until he falls asleep. We co sleep more than he sleeps in his bassinet.. He's for sure a mama's boy and I love it. After this growth spurt has simmered down we'll transition him to his crib. So good luck to him and MJ sharing a room! I know MJ will be climbing on his crib to say hi and look at him, I can already see it now haha.

Halloween shenanigans

Our ward does a little Halloween carnival for the kids each year that the youth put on. So cute! MJ and her cousin had a blast.

My sweet visiting teacher held Oliver so I could take Mary to the different activities. MJ just loves her and runs to give her a hug whenever she sees her. She always has a little treat in her purse for her.

Looking every way but at me...I gave up after the 10th photo..

 She had such a blast, it was so funny when people would say Happy Halloween to her. She'd respond ''I will!" And of course would grab a handful of candy before I could say to her to take just one. After this picture we realized Ollie lost his cute sock with bones on it! ugh dang kid kicking those cute chubby feet!

Before running errands I had to take a minute and take some photos of my cute little monsters ;)

It melts my heart to see how much MJ loves her little brother ''Oviler'' as she so lovingly calls him,

or Ollie of course. She is such a good helper and best mini mama. He follows her with his eyes

all across the room when she plays and giggles when I use his hand to tickle her. 

I love seeing them grow together and the bond they are creating.
