Independence Day weekend

Such a fun Independence day weekend this year, We had a bbq with my family and saw fireworks show on the hill of a school which overlooked the valley so we saw multiple shows going on. My sister and her cute family are moving back to the west side of the country so we all got together on Sunday for ice cream.

Dear Son

My dear son,

I know you're ''due date'' isn't till Sunday ish but seriously... Get out get out get out! My body can't take your kicks and jabs to my stomach and lady parts anymore. I would love to be able to go up the stairs without being in pain or even sit now a days for that matter. Your big sister is so excited to meet you, she even bought you some presents. You must be so cramped inside my tummy so why don't you just do us both a favor and make your way into the world and then you can stretch and kick all you want. Sounds like a win win situation to me. Your daddy and I are so excited to meet you and spoil you, I promise we're pretty cool people and you'll love being part of our family.
Maybe you're waiting till tomorrow because you certainly are my little firecracker with how much you move around compared to your big sister when I was pregnant with her.
So be a good little boy and please make your debut as soon as possible. I promise we'll have a great name picked out for you once we see your cute face and no longer be called baby brother or baby boy.

39 weeks

I will be shocked if I make it to next Sunday let a lone be late with this baby. But I could be totally wrong I guess we'll see. With all of the contractions I'm having and having SO much pressure down there I think he'll be here some time this week. I like my accountant sisters theory for coming on July 2nd  7-2-14... 7x2=14 haha. I'll take it.

Gender: Boy

Maternity Clothes: Well I've been sick the last two weeks so my wardrobe has been pj's..

Stretch Marks: yes!! the little stinker stretches out so far on me that he has given me some new stripes.

Movement:  He moves way more than MJ ever did it's so bizarre to watch my stomach move like that. I love it but some times it's a bit painful! 

Weight gain/loss: Due to being sick the last two weeks I lost a few pounds so I'm now down 1 pound from my pre pregnancy weight but a total of 9 pounds gained while being pregnant.

Cravings: popsicles, icee's you get the idea. 

Sleep: What is this ''sleep'' you speak of? I was soooo congested and of course it gets worse in the evening so sleep was just a disaster. It didn't help that Ryan had to leave for Canada for 4 days on business while both MJ and I were sick so I was all on my own on that one. Moms shouldn't be allowed to get sick..

Missing anything?: Having any kind of energy, the place is a mess and slowly getting back to looking good now that Ryan is back home and able to help me. I miss walking normal, going up and down the stairs with out holding onto the railing and the wall. 

Best moment this week: My sweet husband returning home, he is my rock.

Belly button in or out: I have a major innie but it's poking out when the little guy decides to stretch out and play around

Wedding ring on or off: Off. I'm not really even swollen all that much like I was with MJ but this summer heat is making it so my ring doesn't fit anymore. I became swollen in the summer with Mary when I was just 6 months along. 

Happy or Moody: I'm trying to have a good attitude but between being sick, having a sick toddler who is finally getting better and I think knows change is coming soon due to her recent attitude outbreaks and my low patience I'm trying to be happy. 

Looking forward to: Meeting my son!

Thanks to my mom I got my banner finished and hung up. I love the way it turned out and can't wait to see our cute little babe in his crib.

Well I'm certainly glad I didn't go to girls camp! and even more happy that Ryan was home from his business trip. I woke up Friday morning around 2:30 with what felt like menstrual cramps, that kind I got before having Mary. The kind that is in your stomach and back and brings you to tears. I went in the tv room to time the contractions that I was having on top of it. Thankfully it only lasted for about 45 minutes. This pregnancy is entirely different than Mary's. I had the braxton hicks which I thought were kinda neat but no painful contractions until after my water broke and I was in the hospital. I called my doctor to make sure this is normal to have the cramping. He sent me to the hospital to have them check me and make sure all was well. I'm dilated to a 2 and 70% effaced, it didn't change when she checked me later so they sent me home. Yay! I'm not ready for this baby quit yet, I need to get over this cold and deep clean our place after all of being sick before he arrives!

MJ came with us to the hospital and she is just such a patient little thing. Stuck in a hospital room for 3 hours, missed her nap, snacked on graham crackers watching cartoons keep her entertained. She passed out after we went to red iguana and basically inhaled delicious mexican food.

Why is it when the husband leaves for a work trip the shiz hits the fan. Mary and I have been sick for a week and it seems to only have gotten worse for me the last couple of days. I spent yesterday at my parents house to take a break from being a single parents. MJ was beyond tired when we got home and had a slight fever. I put her in out bed to keep an eye on her and the bawling begins because she doesn't feel good and is so tired, so I turn around to turn some music on for her and I hear gurgling noise. I look back at her and she is throwing up her dinner all over the place. I wanted to cry and scream and sit in a corner all at the same time. I felt like crud and couldn't handle this. BUT when you're a mom you don't get sick days and such is life. Twice more through the night the crying and screaming came from my sick little one, I wanted to join her. Two more days till Ryan returns home. Two weeks till this baby boy should be arriving. I had a dream the other night he decided to arrive early while Ryan was on his work trip, yeah just what I would need...
Ok rant over. On a better note MJ is so patient and I'm so grateful for her. She'll ask me to take her to the playroom, or upstairs or whatever. I have no strength so I'd just have her sit on the bed next to me and watch shows on my phone while I rest a little longer. Such a peach, thanks sweet girl.

Maternity/Family photos

A friend was sweet enough to take some family and maternity photos and she did a fabulous job! Towards the end we had to bribe Mary with cookies to cooperate as best as she could haha. Sorry kind of an overload on photos!

              Yeah she is definitely her fathers daughter with those big brown eyes, they kill me.

We are so excited to meet this little boy of ours in in the 2-3 weeks! And I can't wait to not be pregnant anymore as much as I have seriously enjoyed it I miss being able to lay on my stomach, bend down to pick up toys with out assuming the sumo position, and have my normal clothes fit me again.

35 weeks!

Gender: Boy/ no name still!!

Maternity Clothes: bought a couple of maternity shirts on sale for the summer. Love that they make maternity clothes you can wear after the baby as well.

Stretch Marks: I think I'm noticing a couple of new ones.. 

Movement: yup, especially late at night while I'm trying to sleep.

Weight gain/loss: up 11 pounds. (up 1 from my pre prego weight) don't ask how, I sure don't know how. I gained like 25-30 pounds with MJ. Must be the difference of having a first child and being pregnant with a busy toddler haha

Cravings: Still love me some good meat, and oh limeade now! just delicious especially with it being summer finally. 

Sleep: meh, body is preparing baby to arrive so I don't sleep all that well with the bathroom breaks and hips hurting occasionally. I t could be better, could be worse.

Missing anything?: Laying on my stomach and back, having energy to get things done and playing with MJ. No more running around after her, I get winded! haha pretty pathetic

Best moment this week: Getting family pictures and maternity pictures taken by a friend. Also going on walks this week with Mary, and getting some exercise tank tops and bra that actually fit.

Wedding ring on or off: On

Happy or Moody: happy for the most part! I have a doctors appointment on tomorrow that I'm intrigued about my latest symptom. In the morning/early afternoon most days I feel kinda light headed. Like when you stand for too long with your knees buckled or when you blood sugar has gone down. It's annoying because then I can't help Mary or play and have to lay on the couch or bed for awhile. I thought it was due to needing to snack but I've noticed it happens even an hour after I've eaten. So maybe it's just a weird pregnancy symptom that I just didn't have with MJ.

Looking forward to: Hearing the little guys heartbeat on Wednesday and have some pool days! My legs need some sun desperately..
